Are you hungry? We’re confident you will be when you read this issue! October is the “Food and Wine” issue for North Scottsdale Lifestyle! We are lucky to live in what is quickly becoming known as a true dining destination. Here in North Scottsdale, there is no shortage of restaurants and watering holes to enjoy exquisite and delectable food and drink.

We enjoyed filling our pages with a few of the area’s delicious bites and bevvies. On this month’s cover, you will learn about the recent opening of Merkin Vineyards, a tasting room for Northern Arizona Vineyards. Spearheading this concept is Maynard Keenan, the Lead singer of rock band Tool. (I’m a huge fan!)

By way of brunch, you will meet “The Beatles of the brunch world.” Brunch Cafe is a must-have for sweet and savory delights for breakfast, lunch or brunch!

You will also hear from Lucia Schnitzer, cofounder of the well known Luci’s Urban Concepts and the opening of the newest Scottsdale location Luci’s at the Grove, a Healthy Marketplace.

Learn about Cocktail Squad, founded in Boulder, Colorado, which recently expanded distribution into the Arizona market. These are the perfect beverage choice for those who love lite, tasty and refreshing adult spirits on the go. You can now find these sold at local AJ’s locations as well as Cellars Fine Wine and Spirits in Phoenix.

While we don’t like to play favorites, the “Food and Wine” issue is near and dear to our hearts. After all, food is not only nourishing (and delicious), but it also brings people together—whether it’s a special anniversary dinner, a much-needed lunch break with coworkers, a friend’s birthday party or even a casual weeknight meal with family. Food is often considered one of life’s great pleasures, so dig in, North Scottsdale!

Be grateful, be kind and live well,
