Fellow Osteria Opens in Scottsdale

Housed inside a stylish-yet-welcoming indoor-outdoor space at SkySong, Fellow Osteria brings an authentic Italian osteria menu and vibe to the heart of Scottsdale. Mountainside Fitness Breaks Ground on New Location

Mountainside Fitness is excited to announce the 18th Valley-wide location at one of Arizona’s legacy properties, La Camarilla Racquet Club.

The highly sought-after property is located at the intersection of 53rd Street and Shea and serves as a gateway to Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Phoenix. 

Construction will start in the summer on the 40,000-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center.

Nominations Submitted for 2019 Governor’s Arts Awards

Fifty-nine individuals, arts organizations and advocates, small and large businesses and philanthropists from 19 communities statewide have been nominated for 2019 Governor’s Arts Awards in eight categories. Finalists in each category were announced at an invitation-only Nominees Reception in February. The 2019 Shelley Award honoree was announced in January.

Honorees will be revealed at the 38th annual Governor’s Arts Awards dinner and celebration March 7 at the Renaissance Downtown Phoenix, 100 N. First St.  

The Governor’s Arts Awards are presented by Arizona Citizens for the Arts in partnership with the Office of the Governor. Since 1981, more than 200 distinguished artists, individuals, arts and cultural organizations, educators and businesses have received Governor’s Arts Awards.

The Celebration of Fine Art Sneak Preview Night

The Celebration of Fine Art Sneak Preview Night took place in January at the Celebration of Fine Art, located at 18400 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale. All of the artists were there to debut their work. Appetizers and refreshments were provided, and donations of art supplies were accepted to support Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona.

Evening to PAWS Gala at the Omni

Hundreds of animal lovers gather at this annual fundraiser to help the state’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter, the Arizona Animal Welfare League. In 2019, attendees will want to “suit up” with their finest fedora and get ready for a night of swing with entertainment and dinner inspired by the big band era of the 1950s!
