Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour
The nonprofit Sonoran Arts League hosts its 22nd Annual Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Nov. 16-18 and again Nov. 23-25. The free, self-guided studio features 174 artists at 44 studio locations throughout the scenic Desert Foothills communities of Cave Creek, Carefree and North Scottsdale. OdySea Aquarium’s Monster Fish Exhibition
OdySea Aquarium will be opening a brand-new exhibit on Nov. 10 that will remain open to the public until May 5. This exhibit will be made up of various large fish from all around the world that are vital to the ecosystem in freshwater habitats. This exhibit is made possible in conjunction with National Geographic, based on the TV series Wild. This interactive exhibit has research from more than two years studying rare fish from around the world and includes interactive games to engage visitors of all ages.
National Geographic is a nonprofit that invests its time and money into ideas that promote exploration, scientific research and education. This makes it possible for different generations to have access to information that expands their horizons and understanding of the world around them.
OdySea Aquarium places a large emphasis on educating visitors and was recently voted “the Best Kids Indoor Entertainment.” Currently holding the title of the largest aquarium in Arizona, go give its brand-new exhibit a visit along with the other 65-plus exhibits available to the public.

Scottsdale Public Arts Sneak Peek
Scottsdale Public Art hosts a free 10-day event from Nov. 9-18 that will include large public art installations, hands-on workshops and talks given by artists. Canal Convergence will be the kickoff to this event with a launch party including exclusive opportunities for those who attend.
This event will take place Nov. 8 starting at 5 p.m., hosted at Soleri Plaza at the Scottsdale Waterfront, located on the west side of Scottsdale Road, south of Camelback Road.
Scottsdale Public Art strives to make Scottsdale the most appealing and desirable cities throughout the U.S. and does so by enhancing the quality of life for residents located throughout Scottsdale. McCormick-Stillan Railroad Park Veterans Day Happenings
Cpt. Larry Ernst, a retired United States Navy member, will be giving a speech at the Veterans Day Commemoration Nov. 9 at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. Larry was a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War and flew more than 100 combat missions, performing more than 25 years of service.
There is no cost to attend this event that will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. at 7301 E. Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale.

Marc Raciti and Sonja Raciti will speak about their book regarding PTSD on Nov. 10 at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. The ceremony that is being held will also include patriotic music by 108th Army Band.
Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Celebrate the Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament with former Philadelphia Eagles player Mark McMillian at the Westin Kierland Golf Club Nov. 11-12.
All of the proceeds raised from the event will go toward the support of local military families in the Phoenix area through the Griffin Gives Foundation, which helps those who have served re-emerge into society.
The Color Run
The Color Run has been bringing people together to make the world a happier and healthier place.
This race is a 5K that is filled with color and paint. Start out in a white T-shirt and end the race covered in color. The Color Run is a for-profit event that partners with various charities to help bring awareness to all of the work they do. They have raised funds for more than 80 local and national charities since 2012.
The event will be hosted at Rawhide Western Town on Nov. 10.
Third Annual Wreaths for Life
Wreaths for Life is an event that benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provide support for critically ill children and their families. On Friday, Nov. 9 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. come join in on an auction for custom-themed wreaths that were created by local artists, interior designers and florists.
The wreaths will be displayed from Nov. 1-9, prior to the event at the Shops on Camelback, for bidders to see. The event includes both a silent auction and a raffle, where wine and small dishes will be served.
