Boeing Builds Bikes for 
Kids in Foster Care

Employees from The Boeing Company’s Executive Flight Operations built 100 bikes for kids in foster care during their annual kick off meeting.  Pilots, mechanics and other employees had a great time assembling the bicycles for Arizona Helping Hands. The highlight of the evening came at the conclusion of the project when the bikes were presented to 15 Arizona foster children and the Boeing team was greeted by the beaming smiles on their faces. The remaining bikes will be used throughout the year in Arizona Helping Hands’ BIRTHDAY DREAMS program to celebrate the special day of children in foster care. HonorHealth Foundation Charity Golf Tournament

Tee-off at Grayhawk Golf Club on Friday, March 31st, 2017 for the HonorHealth Charity Golf Classic with proceeds supporting HonorHealth Military Partnership. The HonorHealth Military Partnership program provides training for military medical personnel and first responders. These service members receive hands-on learning, including clinical rotations and realistic training at the Military Partnership’s simulation lab. The program has trained more than 2,600 military members, as well as local firefighters, police officers and others. The fun, shamble-format tournament will be held on Grayhawk’s Raptor and Talon courses, with a choice of a 7:30am or 1:15pm shotgun start. Players will enjoy a gift package, gourmet food at on-course stations and complimentary beverage tickets. Butterfly Wonderland Unveils Largest Known Butterfly Sculpture

Butterfly Wonderland has been graced with its biggest butterfly yet. On display at the exterior foyer of Butterfly Wonderland, the stunning Las Mariposas sculpture stands at an impressive 45 feet tall, with the butterflies’ expansive wings extending 25 feet from base to wing. Taking nearly a year to complete, Las Mariposas is considered to be the largest known butterfly sculpture in the world, and is certain to become an attraction in and of itself at Butterfly Wonderland. The presentation of Las Mariposas to Butterfly Wonderland has been made possible by Michela Roti Gallery in New Mexico, gallery owner Michael Sanchez, and the entire Sanchez Family Trust. Tutors Help Seniors

Teaching his grandmother how to text, FaceTime and use applications on her cellphone inspired Kaden Macor, a junior at Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale, to teach local residents at Vi at Silverstone how to use their electronic devices. The Tech Tutors visit Vi at Silverstone twice a month to hold classes and give one-on-one instruction on how to use anything from iPads and cellphones to digital picture frames and mobile printers.
