Best BBQ

A hidden culinary gem in the heart of Scottsdale, Bootleggers has become a favorite neighborhood-dining destination with a mouthwatering menu of classic smokehouse fare prepared with a twist. Try Bootleggers’ famous Bacon Board to start, served with five different types of house-smoked bacon along with all the fixings. Then, move on to one of their award-winning mains, including the PBLT Sandwich, made with melt-in-your-mouth, ten-hour smoked pork belly, or the Bootlegger Burger topped with whiskey onions and slab bacon resting between two fluffy pretzel buns. Pair one of these barbeque favorites with a handcrafted cocktail and robust brew, or opt to order off their exclusive Moonshine Menu—the house-made Apple Pie Moonshine is a must try for the adventurous—to finish off the ultimate smokehouse experience. Complementing the restaurant’s Southwest Smokehouse feel is its rustic-chic décor. The open space— built using wood from a barn in Montana that belonged to the family of the owner’s business partner— is offset by the low moody lighting set off by amber bulbs and bespoke chandeliers made of Mason Jars, transporting you back to a classic ranch house.
